Home / Compare / Consensus Alternatives

Consensus is a demo automation platform for presales teams: interactive tours, video demos, live demos with injected data and, since it acquired Saleo in 2026, an AI demo agent. It publishes no prices. Alternatives of the same shape are Olto, Reprise, TestBox and Demostack. Lighter, openly priced options include Walnut, Storylane and Navattic. AI demo agents that operate the real product include Floe, Karumi and Naoma. Every entry is checked against the vendor’s own site.

How this list was made. Floe wrote this page and is listed first because it is ours; the rest are alphabetical within each group. Each entry quotes the vendor and links to where it said so. Where a vendor’s site does not say something, the entry says so instead of guessing. Vendors: if anything here is out of date, email hello@floe.so and we will correct it.

What Consensus is, and why teams look elsewhere

Consensus is a demo automation platform for presales teams. It brings together interactive product tours, video demos, AI demo agents and live demos with data injection, and tracks which buyers engaged with what. It publishes no prices: the pricing page lists per-user licences and optional usage-based capabilities above a contact form (Consensus pricing). Its AI demo agent comes from Saleo, which Consensus acquired in 2026 and which runs demos in your native product with demo data injected (Saleo).

Why teams look at alternatives. There is no public price, so you cannot shortlist on cost; the monthly figures quoted in older articles are not on Consensus’s pricing page today. The platform is built for enterprise presales, which is more than a small team needs for an inbound demo. And the buyer-facing agent is new to the platform, arriving with an acquisition.

When Consensus is the better choice. An enterprise presales team wants video demos, tours, live demos with injected data and an agent from one vendor. Deals involve large buying groups, where knowing who watched what matters. Or you already run Consensus, and the agent is an extension rather than a new vendor.

Where Floe fits, and where it does not. Floe is not a demo automation platform. It does not make video demos or tours for reps to send, and it does not inject data for each prospect. It runs a live, voice-led demo in your real product, in the demo account you configure, for visitors who ask to see it, and then offers your booking page.

Operate your real product

The vendor says its agent navigates your actual product while the prospect watches. Ask each one which account it logs into and what it does at an MFA prompt.

How to choose a Consensus alternative

Who is the demo for? Consensus is built for presales teams sending demos into deals. If the need is a demo for inbound website visitors, an AI demo agent is the closer fit; if it is tours for marketing, a tour tool is.

Injected data, a sandbox, or a demo account? Olto, Reprise and TestBox run your real product with data prepared for the demo. Docket runs a sandbox. Floe, Karumi and Naoma operate the real product in a demo account you provide. Ask what each needs from your engineering team.

Do you need the whole platform? Enterprise demo platforms cover tours, videos, live demos and analytics. If you need one of those, a single-purpose tool is usually cheaper and quicker to start.

Is the price public? Walnut, Storylane, Navattic, Naoma, Docket and TestBox publish prices. Consensus, Reprise, Demostack, Olto, Karumi and Floe do not. Ask for the price at your team size and demo volume.

What happens to the lead? Check which qualifying questions the tool can ask, how it books a meeting, and where the lead lands: your CRM, Slack or email.

Is this about Consensus, the AI research search engine?
No. This page covers Consensus the demo automation platform, at goconsensus.com. Consensus the academic search engine is a different company.
