Can you trust an AI demo agent with your product and your prospects?
Short answer: Trust comes from three controls: the account the agent runs in, what it is allowed to click, and whether you can review every conversation. Run it in a demo account with demo data, check which actions are blocked, and read the transcripts from its first week.

The account it runs in
An agent that operates your product is a user of it. Give it its own demo account, with data you are happy for any prospect to see, and never an admin account on real customer data. Most agents that operate the real product cannot get past an MFA prompt, so plan a sign-in the agent can use, with no more permissions than a demo needs.
What it is allowed to do
Ask the vendor which actions the agent can take and which are blocked. A demo often needs to show a form being filled in, but it rarely needs to save a record, send a message, invite a user or export data. Ask too whether those limits are enforced before the click happens, or only written into the agent's instructions.
What it records, and who sees it
Demo agents record conversations so you can review them. Ask what is stored (audio, screen, transcript, contact details), how long it is kept, and who in your team can read it.
How you review it
Read the transcripts from the first week of live demos. They show what prospects asked, what the agent said and where it went, which is the fastest way to find a wrong answer or a gap before it costs you a deal. See what happens when an agent doesn't know the answer.
Floe runs in the demo account you configure, and you control what data is visible. Each demo runs in its own browser instance, which is destroyed when the demo ends, so one prospect's demo has no visibility into another's.
It can open forms and fill in fields to show how something works, but the controls that commit a change, such as Save, Submit, Download and Export, are blocked before the click happens, along with inviting or removing people, changing permissions, sending messages and deleting users. That is a backstop, not a substitute for a low-privilege demo account.
Session recordings are kept for 90 days by default, conversation content has a retention window you can set, and only Owners and Admins can read transcripts. Security & Privacy has the details.
